Hello Line, Sounds too deep :)

If I'm understanding it correctly it's the first time I've heard of it in a health context. I'm open minded to most things but I would need to be convinced first.

And there it is again. The subconscious. Your subconscious is way more powerful when comes to information processing than your conscious. Some people mastered the art of 'planting' new positive information into their subconscious but I have never tried that. What might work is to make sure that whatever I 'plant' into my conscious, my subconscious won't have a 'weapon' to use against me and make me flare up. I know, this sounds silly, and it is. :) I have never met a human being who pulled this off. Subliminal messages...might work but like James, I'd like to be convinced first.

There used to be talk of subliminal advertising in cinemas and TV. Modern tvs and cinema work at rates of 120 or higher, in other words every one second your screen refreshes 120 times. Each frame may only have and imperceptible change to the previous frame but shown at that speed you conscious mind sees movement. The old conspiracy theory went that inserting a single frame saying YOU ARE THIRSTY, GO AND BUY SOME JUICE, wouldn't even be detected by your conscious mind, but your subconscious mind would read it and start making you get the urge to buy some juice.

Very true James. Now that...happens a lot to me. lol. Wine.
Anyway, that's why I always go on about the subconscious and P. The subconscious hides information - something that you might think is not important but it is. Please correct me if I'm wrong. Just one thing about subliminal messages...I won't really go and listen to an balck sabbath tape backwards... :)

A little I suppose but although I would need to be convinced, I can't dismiss Line's original question. For some people, P is caused by stress and your conscious and subconscious mind play a part in that.

Yes of course. Definitely. But subliminal messages comes in different forms right?
Line, you can tell us more about this topic. Very interesting. Thank you.

Well i think my conscious and subconscious has no effect on me when it comes to P,Stress is a part of life,We say we wouldnt stress if we became millionaires, i am sure some stress would be there even if little of it,It does depend on what the stress is i suppose?,If one say say loses a loved one, I am sure that will have a big effect on the body and mind no doubt,If one is covered in P, i can see that would stress someone out too,I like get to the point:)
