Scalp psoriasis friends, how do you best deal with The Prickle? That sensation of fire and burn? 🔥

Hi all at Flaym! Good to check in after a while of being away. Period of mega change this last few months! Skin wise, fairly calm. Added back in quite a few foods from the auto immune diet experiments of last year. Happy new year all 🌟

Had an idea to try glycerine on my psoriasis plaques. What do you think? Anyone already tried it? 🤔

Of all my psoriasis friendly diet experiment recipes, gluten free Yorkshire pudding has to be the worst 😅 Now I'm "just" gluten and nightshade free. Eating mostly paleo style still with mega veg 💚 What are you doing for your psoriasis with diet? 💕

Feeling quite run down, skin isn't doing it's best! Recent guttate outbreak is stubborn, plaques have become quite flakey, and I've lost my voice and got a bunged up cold, and sleep has become quite poor this past few days! Got to turn a corner... 💪

Happy World Psoriasis Day everyone! I'm celebrating with a lovely grapeseed oil soak on my scalp 😊 I'm getting back to a more balanced diet again after my food experiments this year and the guttate flare is still there but fading 💚

2 weeks into vitamin D analogue cream applied daily. Arms are looking so much calmer, torso slower to respond but getting better. Redness, sting, both feeling much more positive. Hurray for science and synthetic vitamins! 👌

Getting on with a daily application on vitamin D analogue cream to bring my guttate flare down. One week in and it's feeling much better! For those who've never tried it, is non steroidal. For me, a good option!

Recent flare up getting worse... Off to the GP I go later this week! Hoping to find some options that I can add in to my daily routine to stop my guttate turning into plaque... I knew that prolonged sore throat would not be my friend!

Third week of a sore throat, and hey presto, guttate is appearing! Just like 18 months ago after throat infection. Torso, legs and arms... A bit of a sense of dread, but feeling less scared this second time around. Hope it doesnt spread too far... 💚

I'm trying a new product that I've not seen on the shelves before. It's a liquid Epsom salt bath gel by Westlab who do the salt granules for bathing. It's on offer in Asda for UK Flaymers. There's a himalayan salt one too. I'll see what it's like! ✨

I have changed my hairstyle to embrace my "widows peak" at the front of my hair. It means my eyebrows and forehead are on show all the time now! A leap of faith as these are psoriasis sites for me in the past that are now calm and doing well ✨

Rustling up a new batch of turmeric paste tonight. What anti inflammatory things do you have in your life to help your skin? Settled down again at the moment. Thank goodness! It has been quite up and down with food reintroductions...

Trying something new from a tip I got from Flaym: Md's recommendation for wheatgrass. And tonight I'm going to buy a new (cheaper) spray on moisturiser brand to see if its anything like the Aveeno one I swear by! 🌿💚👌

Anyone else's psoriasis transform over time to look like dry "rings"? Mine has gone like this on the bits I have left, like kind of mini crop circles that peel at the edges but are very shallow in depth...

So much happier on no nightshades! Feel like a balance is getting restored. What a valuable piece of actual evidence! I tried fresh aloe vera yesterday too. So far no effect... But smells nice! 🌿

Skin doing much better for now, even after swimming today! No nightshades now for me. No instant reactions, took a while to build up then took me by surprise. I'm going to try a new green juice tomorrow. I'll Instagram it @thislifethisskin 👌

Bizarre twist! My psoriasis has become more active on my lower half of my body than my upper half. Maybe it is migrating?! Tops of feet (in a perfect line pattern, quite mesmerising) and knees, and on the bum. Anyone get this? Upper half is calm! 🤔

Ended up covering arms up and getting self-conscious for the first proper time in many months. Psoriasis trying to conquer! Looking a little calmer today. This condition is such a cycle! Which means an "up" cycle must be right around the corner...
